荷兰世界园艺博览会是世界最高级别的A1级园艺博览会。“中国园”是团队融中国传统江南园林特色和现代科技为一体的杰作，是本届博览会室外展区中面积最大的国家展园。根据世博园总体规划，团队结合现状调研，在对世博园区绿地系统的功能结构和构成方面深入研究的基础上，从先进理念出发，呼应总体规划、体现世博主题和会后持续利用，努力事先“绿色世博、生态世博”的战略目标。世博绿地系统规划把生态性和文化性相融、整体性与特色性并存、共享性与层次性互动作为三条核心理念，并贯穿绿地系统规划始终。

Horticultural exposition of the Netherlands is the highest level A1 horticultural exposition in the world. "China garden" is a masterpiece of the team integrating traditional Chinese gardens in the south of the Yangtze river with modern science and technology. It is the largest national garden in the outdoor exhibition area of this expo. The park adopts the construction method of Chinese classical gardens, "though created by man, wan looks from the sky, with different sceneries, and dense layout", highlighting the traditional Chinese cultural concept of harmony between man and nature. "China garden" also USES a number of high and new technologies, such as water self-purification technology, tree transplantation technology, garden road dry paving technology, flower cultivation technology, solar energy application technology, etc.
